What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in the same way. They can be essential for a site to work, or optional, for example to measure how a site is used.
Cookies we use
We keep cookies to a minimum. At present this website uses only what is strictly necessary:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
telcotec-consent | Strictly necessary (local storage) | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies, so we do not ask again on every page | 12 months |
We do not currently use analytics, advertising or social media cookies. If we add any in future, for example analytics to understand which pages are useful, they will only be used if you agree to them through our cookie banner, and this policy will be updated to list them first.
Third-party services
We do not use third-party services that set cookies or track you on this website. Our fonts are hosted on our own website, so no information is sent to a font provider when a page loads.
Managing your choice
When you first visit the site we ask whether you accept non-essential cookies. Rejecting them is as easy as accepting them, and strictly necessary storage is always active because the site cannot work properly without it.
You can change your choice at any time:
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Guidance is available at ico.org.uk.
Changes and contact
We will update this policy if the cookies we use change. Questions can be sent to info@telcotec.co.uk.
