Last updated: 8 November 2026

Who we are

This website is operated by Telcotec Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 05163980), registered office 39 Morland Road, Harrow, Middlesex, HA3 9LU ("Telcotec", "we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

For any privacy question or request, email info@telcotec.co.uk with "Privacy" in the subject line, or write to us at our registered office.

We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under registration number ZA516161.

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer because the law does not require one for our activities. Privacy questions are handled by our team at info@telcotec.co.uk.

What we collect

We keep the personal information we collect to a minimum:

  • Enquiries: when you email us, your name, email address and anything you include in your message, such as your company name.
  • Client and supplier contacts: business contact details and correspondence when we work with you or your organisation.
  • Technical data: when you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the date and time, to keep the site secure and working.
  • Your cookie choice: a small record of whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies. It is stored only in your own browser, and we do not receive it (see our Cookie policy).

We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, special category data (such as health information) through the website. We do not knowingly collect information from children; this website is intended for business users.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling. We will only send you marketing emails if you have asked us to, and you can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

We never sell personal information. We share it only where needed to run our business:

  • Service providers who act on our instructions, such as website hosting and cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure), and our email and IT providers.
  • Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, under a duty of confidentiality.
  • Regulators, law enforcement or courts, where the law requires it.

eMock is a separate, related business with its own website and privacy policy. We do not share enquiries made on this website with eMock unless you ask us to.

International transfers

We are based in the UK. Some of our service providers may process personal information outside the UK. For example, Microsoft Azure delivers our website through a global network, so your visit may be handled by a server near you.

When personal information is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as UK adequacy regulations (including the UK–US data bridge for certified US organisations), the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How we protect it

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and restricted internal access. If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) where required.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate information;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • ask us to restrict how we use it;
  • object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to direct marketing;
  • receive a copy of information you gave us in a portable format; and
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To use any of these rights, email info@telcotec.co.uk. We may need to confirm your identity, and we will respond within one month.
